Terms & Conditions

By visiting or using Sequoyah County Released Inmates, you agree to these terms and conditions. Do not use the site if you do not accept them.

This privately owned site has no affiliation with Sequoyah County, a sheriff, jail, corrections department, court, or other government body. It helps visitors locate Oklahoma custody and release-record resources. It is not a private investigation firm or consumer reporting agency. Neither the site nor its advertising partners offers services for credit, employment, insurance, tenant screening, or another use governed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

Nature of the Service

This is an independent reference site. It does not store official jail, release, inmate, or court records. It cannot confirm custody, release a person, post bond, or file a government document.

Its pages point toward Sequoyah County and Oklahoma records offices, public locators, and third-party research tools. The originating agency remains responsible for its own record.

Acceptable Use Rules

You may use the service only for lawful purposes. You agree that you will not:

  • Break any law while accessing or using the site
  • Use information to stalk, threaten, or harass a person
  • Base employment, housing, lending, or insurance decisions on site content
  • Attempt access to an account, server, or area without authorization
  • Run bots, crawlers, or scraping systems against the service
  • Interfere with access or operation for another visitor

No Consumer Reports

The site is not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. It provides no background check, credit report, consumer report, or screening service, and neither do its advertising partners through this site. You agree not to use any information obtained here for:

  • A decision to hire, retain, promote, or dismiss a worker
  • Tenant selection or any housing decision
  • Creditworthiness, lending, or insurance pricing
  • Licensing, permits, or government-program eligibility
  • Any other purpose regulated by the FCRA

Third-Party Destinations

Links may lead to sheriff or corrections sites, release records, government portals, legal-aid resources, or outside search services. A link is not an endorsement. We are not responsible for a destination's content, privacy practices, data handling, terms, or availability. Review its rules before use.

Service Provided As Is

The site and its content are supplied “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranty about:

  • Accuracy, completeness, or current status
  • Continuous and uninterrupted availability
  • Freedom from errors, bugs, or security flaws
  • The scope or quality of a partner's search results

Custody and public records can change quickly. Nothing published here is an official statement by a sheriff, corrections department, court, or other government agency.

Liability Limits

To the broadest extent allowed by law, the site and its operators will not be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or other damages arising from access, inability to access, reliance, or use.

Your Duty to Indemnify

You agree to defend and hold the site, its operators, and partners harmless from claims, losses, costs, and reasonable legal fees caused by your use of the service or violation of these terms.

Ownership of Site Material

Text, graphics, logos, and code belong to Sequoyah County Released Inmates or the applicable content partner. You may not copy, distribute, modify, republish, or create derivative work from them without written permission.

Revisions to These Terms

We may revise these terms at any time. A revised version takes effect when posted, and continued use after posting signifies acceptance.

Suspension of Access

We may limit, suspend, or end access at any time, for any reason, without prior notice.

Oklahoma Law Controls

Oklahoma law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in Oklahoma.

Severability

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms stay in effect. The affected provision will be limited or adjusted only as much as needed to make it enforceable.
